Looks like those of you who have been asking are going to find out what that handle is for.
Man, I’m a sore monkey. Just dug out from 2 foot of snow, and evidently another foot or so is on the way! It’s OK, I do like the snow, but if Moon Town is late again, you know why. It gets canceled for snow.

Security Agent Captain Cassandra Quinn is on assignment to the mining outpost Luna Seven amid rumors of pirates near the outpost. On her approach to the complex, she saw something moving around on the surface of the moon that shouldn’t have been. During her attempts to verify her visual sighting, a mysterious ship blasted her out of the sky. Her story starts HERE.
Meanwhile, on miner Simon Tripline’s morning commute to work, he sees something strange through a porthole. Shortly thereafter, Simon’s suspicions are aroused concerning the mysterious activities of the base’s top earner, Vin Sinclair, who became separated from the mining party. Simon took off to find him, but found Cassandra instead. He rescued her, but she woke up confused, angry and armed. While they argue, something is watching them.

He would! Knew that lever had to be there for a reason.
I love your artwork – awesome!!
Ho-HO! I know what comes next! I do this to Anh all the time! I best leave this as cryptic as possible…
Ah Hah! I was close, wasn’t I?!? I don’t know whether that should worry me or not . . . Great build up. Simon’s takin’ charge of the situation.
That’s what happens when you get your knickers in a twist. She’d better sit her butt down.
Oh I like this, seems that Simon isn’t quite the pushover.
Thanks, guys! Yeah, this is the exciting part, a scene I saw in my head from the beginning.
Buckle up.
Great buildup, can’t wait to see the next strip. You’ve got us all in the palm of your hand!
cool that handle plays a significant role, somehow theres something special in its presence..that was more than obvious in the last strip already…
i wonder if thats an ejector seat …
i’m excited whats to come..i agree with tom .. does this mean you are tripline and we are the handle in this case…nifty construction there
Ha Ha! Outstanding story telling! I cannot wait to see what happens next.
I love the magician slight-of-hand trick you used to draw our attention away from the hand that is reaching for the pull-handle…
The eye is drawn to the >>CLICK<< hand first. Careful scrutiny (plus a text hint from the author) reveals the motion of the second hand.
Steve, You are an inspiration. Thank you.
One thing you guys can count on. Steve doesn’t do anything without a reason.
You would think that a law enforcement officer would know better than to point a gun at someone if they weren’t ready and willing to shoot, but hey, it fits the wild-west-in-space motif.
Snow-soreness is definitely a legitimate excuse for delays, so no worries there…
It would seem Simon has reached his limit for gun-in-face time. Sure hope that Cassandra’s visor auto-seals…
Oh, Tom – you forget my career is built upon Happy Accidents! heh heh
Skeptible – You have put your finger on it. It’s the Wild West, and I’m sure this isn’t the last time you’ve seen someone pointing a gun at someone else in Moon Town when they didn’t completely intend to shoot ‘em. In fact, I think if Cassie had really meant to shoot Simon, he’d be dead already. Also, her reaction is telling – Simon has his hand on that handle, whatever it does. She evidently knows what it does, hence, “You WOULDN’T!” which tells me, it’s probably not good. But rather than pressing her advantage harder with the pistol, her reaction is to lower it. I think that tells you a lot about Cassie beyond just the fact she’s a rookie.
Wright – Wow, that’s a good idea. I bet TLS has been told many times to outfit their guards with something protective just like that, but has saved 5 dollars a helmet by not including it. So I think you know how that goes.
Ok ok – I know – I’m just saying, not too much is happening in your story that you haven’t thought about. Howza bout that?
Tom – I think it’s flattering. Maybe I’m just running this out by the seat of my pants?
LOL! Nice one! Get the heck out the rig!
Hmmm… Even if Cassie’s helmet auto-seals she’s still out of oxygen. Time to diffuse.
Yeah, Mark – that’s what most reasonable people would try to do. Both Simon and Cassie are stubborn in their own way, but can also be quite reasonable. I wonder what will win out here – reason, or stubbornness?
Og, your comment above about digging out from the snow means you must be somewhere in the mid-Atlantic states! I’m in Maryland, looking at the second part of the “Snowmageddon” blizzard as I type this. Three blizzards in one season is unheard of for this region!
Yep. I’m in northern Baltimore. 65 inches in less than a week, and more on the way. This is a big coupla storms!
I call it Snopocolypse 2: The Dumpening.
Oh, and BTW — love the webtoon. This has quickly become my favorite. Good story line, good pacing, effective artwork. Well done, mate!
Glad you like it! Nice that you’ve caught up with us. Where does it go from here? Only time will tell… heh heh
We’ve been referring to it as the Snowtorious B.I.G. here in my house, and that track seems to be stuck on repeat.
All right, Mark – that’s really funny…
That’s why the character speaking souther accent!
