About Moon Town – Moon Town began life as a series of one-minute computer animated science-fiction action adventure episodes being created by writer / director Steve Ogden. He decided to forgo the rigors of computer generated geometry and indulge in the rigors of daily drawing in order to tell the story in a more timely fashion as a webcomic.
Plot Synopsis - The year is 2087. Earth has been mined into a shell, so mankind is mining the moon. But when ore shipments begin vanishing amid rumors of pirates, a new sheriff comes to town in the form of rookie security guard Cassandra Quinn. Can she solve the mystery of the missing ore? Or will she find out too much? Some secrets can get you killed…
About Steve Ogden – Steve Ogden isn’t nearly so clever as he’d have you believe. Sure, he’ll talk about his days at Cyan, Inc, makers of the best-selling computer games Myst and Riven, or his days at Firaxis Games, makers of the best-selling computer games Civilization, Railroads and Pirates. He’ll talk of his time running the indie animation website AnimWatch, or of his award-winning animated film Flakes. But when it comes right down to it, isn’t he just another artist / writer / animator / illustrator trying to tell a science fiction story in his spare time while living it up in Maryland’s wine country?
