TheHWord

So, I have to write one of those posts I hate writing. Time for me to evoke The H Word… Hiatus.

You’ve noticed that Moon Town has been languishing in Non Update Land. I got a new job at work, and although it’s much better for me and I’m much happier, it is much more demanding. Until I get my hands around this new job, Moon Town is going to have to wait.

During this hiatus, I will also be catching up with a few things. Poor Brock Heasley has been waiting for about half a year for my SuperFogeys Origins story on The Thrice Evil, so it’s high time I got it for him. Without the constant need for more Moon Town strips, I’m betting I can finally honor this obligation.

And last but not least, I’ll also be working on a little strip that has a decent chance with one of the syndicates. I can’t say more about it except it features a kid and a mythical animal, and I love it to death. (BTW, that’s an intentionally pixellated version of the characters, above. I’ll publish more about this when I can.) It’s sort of refreshing – each one of these strips takes me only about an hour, where a typical Moon Town strip can take me 6 to 8 hours. Innnnteresting.

Anyway, I still appreciate your faith and attention, and trust me when I say Moon Town will return in a couple of months or so… perhaps the week of Aug 2.

Thank you for your patience.

Birthday01b

Hard to believe, but May 10 marks a YEAR since I first began telling the Exciting Moon Town Saga online.

As I continue to struggle out from under a load of Too Much Stuff that’s keeping me from Moon Town, and as I close in on 100 Moon Town strips, I did want to take a moment out to thank you all for coming along for the ride. I look forward to sharing more of the story with you soon.

Keep the faith, my brethren. And sistren. And Happy Birthday, Moon Town.

SpaceReport

For those of you wondering how SPACE went, Tom Dell’Aringa has put up a really nice report at our WishTales site. That will give you a good feel for the show until I can get dug out from under my Huge Pile of Work and put my report up, hopefully sometime soon. Meanwhile, enjoy!

Sorry, everyone… my time is not my own, temporarily. Moon Town will be missing in action for a few days. Hopefully will return next week.

We regret the inconvenience.

Going off to SPACE this weekend. If you’re going to be able to make the show on April 24 or 25 in Columbus OH, Tom and I will be at the Wishtales table. Table #72 – see map below.

Get yerself on over to Fandomania, because there’s much there to please fans of all stripes. You could really get lost in all that great content…

Hey! Something to read while waiting for the next Moon Town strip!
