All right ladies and gentlemen – this is it, the end of the first three chapters of the exciting Moon Town saga, and the completion of Book One.

This will also be the last Moon Town strip of 2009. You’re looking good going over the hill, and we’ll see you with fresh strips beginning January 15, 2010.

Security Agent Captain Cassandra Quinn is on assignment to the mining outpost Luna Seven amid rumors of pirates near the outpost. On her approach to the complex, she saw something moving around on the surface of the moon that shouldn’t have been. During her attempts to verify her visual sighting, a mysterious ship blasted her out of the sky. Her story starts HERE.

Meanwhile, miner Simon Tripline is waking up and getting ready for his day while the morning news mentions rumors of piracy surrounding the disappearance of a shipment of ore from Luna Seven. As Simon walks to work, he sees something strange through a porthole. Meanwhile, Simon’s suspicions are aroused concerning Vin Sinclair, one of Luna Seven’s top drillers. Is there a dark secret to his success? The mechanic seems to suggest so, offering a little evidence to go with it, just in time for Simon’s eyes to play tricks on him again. Wow! Our first piece of Fan Art has come in, and what a treat! It’s by my buddy David Reddick, artist and creator of Legend of Bill as well as about a thousand other comics you probably know and love. David and I collaborated on two stories for his upcoming Legend of Bill collection. If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy yet, jump on it. David drew this pic of Cassie on the plane on his way back from a recent trip to Las Vegas, where he was busy being a Famous Artist and all around Star Trek Big Shot for his work with Roddenberry’s sci-fi empire. Sounds  like it was a great trip, and I know he enjoyed himself immensely. Really nice for him to draw up a little Moon Town action (and he included my favorite Bar Wench from Legend of Bill to boot.) Thanks, David!
